Boats are grouped by cabin count and onboard fit-out so couples, families and larger groups can match the vessel to their trip:
- By bedroom count: Choose 1-bedroom houseboats for two guests, 2-bedroom boats for families of four to five, or 3-bedroom charters and multi-boat flotillas for larger groups.
- By comfort tier: Standard budget houseboats keep costs practical with clean cabins and home-style meals, family boats prioritise wide decks and child-friendly menus, and luxury and honeymoon houseboats add upper decks, full-time AC suites and dedicated chef service.

Routes, boarding points and inclusions
Most trips depart from Alleppey boarding points around Punnamada, Finishing Point, Kainakary, Nedumudy or Champakulam and follow established backwater routes through circular town canals, Kuttanad villages or the Kumarakom lake crossing. Overnight packages typically list the boat, crew and meals; cabin AC hours and optional extras such as special seafood are confirmed with the desk before you book.

Alleppey houseboats are priced per boat per night (or per trip for a day cruise), not per person. Each listing displays a current amount for that boat. Because rates can change by season or date, we confirm the applicable amount and availability with the operator when you send an enquiry.
Is an enquiry an immediate confirmed booking?
No. Submitting the booking form or messaging us on WhatsApp records your enquiry without charging your card online. Our booking desk checks your dates with the operator first and shares the payment link only after availability is confirmed.
What is the difference between Alleppey and Alappuzha?
They are two names for the same backwater town and district in south-central Kerala. Alappuzha is the official name used on railway timetables and road signs, while Alleppey is the historical name widely used by travellers.
What is usually included in an overnight houseboat trip?
A typical overnight booking gives your group private use of the boat, a three-person crew (captain, cook and deck assistant on most boats), freshly prepared Kerala meals (lunch, evening tea and snacks, dinner, and next-morning breakfast), cruising time and calm overnight mooring.
Should we choose a day cruise or an overnight stay?
